My teaching style is based on my own personal experiences. In my first year as a B2B freebie salesperson, I made seven-figure sales and signed up ten new clients. Salespeople who are new to the field usually have zero sales in their first year and one client in the next.
I struggled with figuring out what the best method for marketing B2B sales was. Not long ago, I had to make a significant adjustment in my life and the way I approach my occupation. When I first started working, I was an IT salesperson, sitting in a cubicle all day looking at phone numbers. It was a tedious and monotonous job, and I dreaded going to work every day since my achievements were not recognized. Despite my setbacks, I persisted. I was back to square one, feeling like to change my career. I gave deep thought to it. In conclusion, I found that while I enjoy the selling aspect of my profession, it is necessary for me to dive deeper into it.
I was introduced to a job opportunity through a close friend to work as a freelancing Sales Representative for a company. When I first started freelancing, I had no experience, but I was eager for the challenge.
Because I wanted a bigger ocean, I put in the extra hours and worked harder than anyone else. I devised my own sales approach, developed a lead-generation system, and became an authority in what I was selling. My hard work paid off in my first year as a sales freelancer, as I closed seven-figure deals and added ten or more new clients.
It became difficult to return to the corporate sector due to office politics and lack of respect, so I quit to start my own teaching company, “Sales Brugh.” The transition to “becoming my own boss” came with challenges and unknowns. I had no idea where to start to find my first clients, and my fund quickly ran out. I attended professional events across the country and wasted a lot of time and money on phony “gurus” without ever gaining any clients. Being a rookie with a competitive spirit, I HIGHLY DISCOUNTED my services.
I was finally able to gain traction and raised my rates, but I soon realized that “this is just the beginning” and that “there is a long, long way to go before I can give up.”
It all adds up to this: if I can learn to sell several seven-figure sums in my first year without any prior experience or contacts, you can do it, too. My goal is to share everything I have learned about sales with you so you can live the life you want.
